This event has concluded. The content below is provided for informational purposes only.
FinTech (Financial Technology) is the use of technology to improve financial transactions. Investment, lending, payments, currency, financial planning, and more are all ripe for disruption by FinTech startups.
Sign up now to pitch your company to a panel of experienced FinTech investors and CEOs. The FinTech Investor Pitch is a great opportunity for entrepreneurs to present their ideas, get actionable feedback for their companies, and learn how to raise early-stage capital in today’s market. This event is also a great opportunity to meet other founders in your field, and network with seed stage and angel investors.
Seed Stage Investors generally invest $100,000 - $200,000 in early stage technology companies as compared to traditional Angels who may invest $25,000 to $50,000 in a deal. If you are an entrepreneur in a startup that is currently seeking capital and would like to present your best two-minute pitch (time limit is strictly enforced) to a panel of angels, you must follow the instructions below. Pitching slots go quickly, so sign up early!
To Present a Pitch
- You must register in advance;
- Presenters are assigned on a first-come basis and
- Slot availability is confirmed automatically during registration;
- The maximum number of presenting startups is 10 (with only one person pitch per company)
- 4 “no guarantee” standby slots are also available (register via General Admission / Pitch Standby).
Once you register, additional guidelines will be sent to you. You must RSVP your receipt of the guidelines to confirm your slot. Your pitch should last no more than two minutes, and timing is strictly enforced. Please note that no handouts, cards, demos or samples will be allowed during or immediately after your presentation.
Your pitch is followed by four minutes of Q&A by the panel; and four minutes of non-rebuttal feedback from each panelist. Only one person from your company may present the two-minute pitch to the investors and answer questions from the panel.
Entrepreneurs who are not yet ready to pitch or unable to reserve a pitch slot are encouraged register and attend via the General Attendance registration. By listening to the pitches, the panelist Q&A and the critiques you may learn some key points for developing an effective pitch that investors value. You will also have the opportunity to network with investors at the event.
If you are an investor, come and listen to the entrepreneurs’ pitches—you never know where you’ll find your next deal. Learn how other investors rate the pitches; which angels pass and for what reasons; and which entrepreneurs other angels want to talk to most.
