Headwinds and tailwinds exist today for hopeful emerging ventures managers. Overall, the degree of difficulty of raising a VC or PE fund is unquestionably higher than it was a several years ago. There is higher emphasis on authentic differentiation which requires articulating the firm’s advantage in relationships, sourcing and winning deals. One of the first things that an LP looks for in a fund manager is track record. Fund managers with a good track record stand a better than average chance of getting into the best deals and therefore making more money. Despite the fact that the bar is higher, there still exists substantial capital from active allocators. Come hear some successful women GPs who have recently raised capital talk about their differentiation in the market and the LP process they went through.

This event series is for senior women VCs & experienced senior level women entrepreneurs ONLY.

2018 is proving to be a very busy year for women investors. We've had a great deal of interest in this program series, however signing on for a year's worth of programs has proven problematic.

We’ve worked with a number of women investors who started their own funds and have designed this particular series for a limited number very accomplished women investors and entrepreneurs who may want to start their own VC fund or just get a leg up on obtaining funds from LPs. The reason that we are only bringing a small number women into the program is that we felt this would begin to provide the strategic and tactical infrastructure and bonds needed for the arduous road ahead. We’ve also planned meeting times to accommodate busy schedules.

Program Registration

  • Open seating for 12 women investors and senior women entrepreneurs who want to start their own VC fund or just get a leg up on obtaining funds from LPs
